The 29th Annual AAR Research Review brings together technical experts from all sectors of the railway industry, as well as leaders from Class 1 and short line railroads, and suppliers from around the world. This highly anticipated industry event highlights results from the Association of American Railroads’ (AAR) Strategic Research Initiatives (SRI) Program. This year’s event will also feature the first in-person tour of AAR subsidiary MxV Rail’s new multi-campus research facilities.
The collective investment in SRI research by AAR members continues to drive results for industry safety, reliability, and efficiency, and promotes effective development and deployment of innovative new technologies.
In addition to the primary sessions of the AAR Research Review, MxV Rail leads this workshop catered specifically to new rail professionals. The goals of this workshop are to deliver a high-level overview of MxV Rail’s diverse research topics as well as our research capabilities and to establish a professional peer-network of stakeholders in railway research, with an emphasis placed on early-career railroad professionals.
The 29th Annual AAR Research Review will be held in downtown Pueblo, Colorado at the Pueblo Convention Center. The Convention Center sits alongside the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo, a popular tourist destination and activity hub for the city.
