Formerly Known as University Days, Expanded to Connect Emerging Talent with Real-World Rail Innovation
February 9, 2026, Pueblo, CO – MxV Rail is excited to announce a new Student Travel Grant Program designed to support the next generation of rail researchers and engineers. This opportunity provides up to $1,500 in travel reimbursement, in addition to complimentary registration, for selected students to attend the 31st Annual Association of American Railroads (AAR) Research Review, held April 28–30, 2026, at MxV Rail’s purpose-built facility in Pueblo, CO.

This new program, formerly known as University Days, expands MxV Rail’s commitment to fostering academic engagement and supporting students in engineering and physical science disciplines. The AAR Research Review is the premier annual gathering of rail industry leaders, showcasing emerging technologies, high-impact research, and the latest advancements in safety, testing, and innovation.

About the Student Travel Grant
The grant is open to full-time undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in ABET-accredited U.S. institutions. Students selected for the award will receive:
