This is the premier industry conference bringing together Class I and short line railroads, university faculty and students, early career engineers, and suppliers from around the world to address our most pressing technical challenges.
The 2026 Annual AAR Research Review will take place April 28 – April 30, 2026, in Pueblo, CO. The Early Career Railroader Workshop will open the week with background presentations on a broad variety of topics and lessons from industry leaders. Day 2 will feature technical workshops at the Pueblo Convention Center highlighting the latest insights from the industry’s Strategic Research Initiatives (SRI) program. Day 3 will feature everyone’s favorite FAST® loop track walk, showcasing new experiments in progress.
